Nutraceuticals World editorial advisory board member Fergus Clydesdale, professor and head, Department of Food Science, University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA, was recently asked to serve as a member of the Institute of Medicine (IOM), National Academy of Sciences (NAS), Committee on Use of Dietary Reference Intakes in Nutrition Labeling. The appointment runs through September 2003.
